New Songs at Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project

Eric will perform some new tunes from the upcoming album in his Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project concerts. The first is June 12th in NY. If anyone sees the show please let us know about the new tunes! I will be going to the show in Austin next month and will provide more info after that show. Eric Is Recording New Album

Eric is in London recording his new album. Hopefully we can get some more info, it’s very exciting.
Also, on American Idol, Casey James performed Eric’s song Ok It’s Alright With Me. The judges hated it though, mostly because they didn’t know it.
If you have not seen it yet, Eric performed a song off the new record while he was in Austrailia. The song is called The People I Know.

New Mini EP Coming in Dec

On December 15th, Warner Bros Records will release Sounds Like This Live 2, an EP featuring stripped-down versions of five songs from Sounds Like This. Sounds Like This Live 2 follows Hutchinson’s Sounds Like This Live EP, which features live versions of five different songs and was released in April of 2009.
“I wanted to continue the approach I had on the first EP, getting the songs back to their purest form – the way they were when I wrote them,” Eric explains. “We had a day off in Minneapolis so I went into a studio and played through the songs in one take.”
