Well, the YouTube video got about 3700 hits during the first 24 hours. I imagine it got about that many on perezhilton.com, but I don’t know. Here is a question for you all, where did the other 26 seconds of the song go?

Eric’s website is up and running, check it out! You can now get the “Pretty Good” T-shirts, as well as the new design, and a pennant. The Rock N Roll video is there, as are a few pics. There is a message from Eric welcoming everyone, and saying that he will be updating the blog more often. It has streaming music from Imeem.com, but only 30 seconds, so if you want to hear a whole song over the internet, his MySpace is still the best bet.

We got clarification on the LAT article, looks like there are not 2 “new” songs on the new release of Sounds Like This. The songs were new for Maverick Records when Eric was making the LP, and he ended up putting them the LP on his own. Anyways, no new songs.
But on a much better note, check perezhilton.com on Monday, and check out Eric’s YouTube channel as the Rock N Roll video will hit the internet.

The Los Angeles Times had a good article on Eric Hutchinson. He talks about what it was liked being droped by Warner Bros during the Maverick Records fiasco, and about how strange it was to be picked back up by WBR after a “bidding war”.
They also reveal the new release “includes new recordings of two songs he’d started working on for the Maverick album.” Does this mean they are just remixes of songs already on Sounds Like This, or 2 new ones? I will try to find out.
Anyway, check out the article, and mark your calender for Tuesday when Sounds Like This comes out again.
